Finding the money we need

Age Concern Northamptonshire is a local charity and we rely heavily on donations, legacies and grants to enable us to provide the services we offer throughout the county. The success of our fundraising and charity shops is dependent on the goodwill of our volunteers.  We are also pleased to announce that Age Concern Northamptonshire are one of the charities that will benefit from funds raised by The Saint Albans Charity Players of Northampton in 2010.  Please visit their website.

FUNdraising Events - Age Concern can only keep going because of the generosity of people who make donations or help us in so many other ways. We are having a big push this year to raise money that will lift Age Concern out of recession and protect vital services for thousands of older people in the County. And we’re going to make it fun too! For more information on how to get involved, contact Susie Davies on 01604 611214.  Please support us.

Legacies – Help us to safeguard the future of older people by remembering Age Concern Northamptonshire in your Will. No matter how small your gift is, you will make a real difference. We rely greatly on the gifts and legacies that are left by our supporters. Much of our voluntary income comes from legacies and yours could play an important role in the welfare of older people throughout Northamptonshire. You may be interested in arranging for donations to be collected for Age Concern at your funeral instead of flowers. See our free guide entitled "A lasting way to be remembered"

Donations - Your donation will help us to continue to provide a number of vital services to older people in the County. You can donate by post or by telephone or securely, using PayPal, via our web page www.acnorthants.org.uk

Charity shops - With 10 local shops across the county, there are many opportunities to dispense with your unwanted clothing, bric-a-brac, book, CDs and selected electrical items.

Replacing your sofa or dining on a new table? Then Age Concern offers you an environmentally friendly way of disposing of your old furniture. Soft furnishings must have UK Standard Fire Safety tags.
